One of the things that makes Wekiva so unique are the walking trails behind many of the homes.  There are more than 23 miles of trails which can be a little confusing--especially to new residents.  We are constantly asked if we have a map of Walking trails.  Well, several years ago a scout mapped out the trails for Wekiva.  Originally, signs had been planned on the trails but were never done.  Still the scouts work might help some people from getting lost and that is worth a merit badge in our book.

Here is the initial map showing both Wekiva Streets and the walking trails.  The thick lines are streets and the thin lines are the community walking trails.  The dots and numbered dots show suggested locations of trail signs.
