Food Drive in Wekiva

Lake Brantley Patriots Pop Warner organization (www.lakebrantleypopwarner.com) is coordinating a food drive in various neighborhoods in Seminole County to collect food items for donation to the Seminole County Public Schools' Families in Transition Program (www.seminolehomelesskids.org). Wekiva Elementary School has agreed to allow use of their front circular drive on the morning of Saturday, March 10, 2012, as a central drop off location for Wekiva residents.

Kids will be physically distributing flyers to homes on Saturday, March 3, 2012.

Save Wekiva Elementary!

Great news for Wekiva Elementary and the Wekiva Community. However, we are not out of the woods yet. Unless our district comes up with a way to balance the budget with long-term budget solutions, we will be back here next year trying to save our school again!
